Foster and Adoption

Fostered and adopted children need us to see this experience through their eyes. Books can help introduce the concept of foster care or adoption to children as well as assist conversations about a child’s unique life story. It is important that we use these stories to help us think about this experience from the child’s perspective and gently explore how nuanced the influence can be on a child or young persons identity.
